“The Midlands Family Business Awards are a truly unique, independent, not-for-profit initiative in the region that recognise and celebrate the work and achievements of family owned businesses and their leaders,” says Charlotte Perkins, MD of The Wilson Organisation and part of the Awards’ team.

Year-on-year, the Awards have grown in strength, popularity and awareness, as Charlotte explains: “They bring together a network of 1,000 family businesses that is also an incredible community of individuals and businesses all with one common goal – to raise awareness of the contribution the family business sector makes both in the Midlands and nationally, and to reward and acknowledge their work, successes and sustainability.

Bedrock MD Phill Dann said “The Midlands Family Business Awards are a unique, independent, not-for-profit initiative in the region which we’re delighted to support.” he adds, “they recognise the work and achievements of family owned businesses and their leaders. As a category sponsor we have the opportunity to lend our support, connect with new and established business contacts, and join Wilsons in celebrating the region’s family firms.”

Also new for 2106 is the People’s Choice Award, sponsored by Streets Accountants, which will involve all shortlisted finalists in the Awards’ ten judged categories automatically entering into the People’s Choice Award and facing the public vote to find the overall Winner and Highly Commended businesses.
